Laura Klein De La Vega Diaz-Merry

Laura was widowed from Lauren Klein.  She was the matriarch of the family, in both the U.S. and Spain and was one of the last members of her family to have lived through the Spanish Civil War from 1936 – 1939.  On July 12th, 2000, she received her U.S. citizenship, for which she was very proud.

Laura leaves behind her ever loving daughter, Maite Klein and son, Pablo Klein; adored mother-in-law to Mark Taylor and Cathryn Klein; along with a large extended family and a multitude of friends in Madrid, Valencia, Australia and the United States.

 

A Private Celebration of Laura Klein’s life will be held on Sunday February 24th, 2019

Wife, mother, sister and lifelong friend to us all, she leaves indelible footprints on this Earth and in our hearts.
